The main aim of the Electrician Programme is to prepare a cadre of Electrician who are competent in adapting a body of knowledge in meeting the requirements and best practices in industries through providing the trainees with knowledge in:

·       Have a thorough knowledge, understanding of electrical theory and its application to lighting, power, and control equipment.

·       Layout and install the various electrical circuits in residential, commercial, industrial and institutional complexes and buildings.

·       Be capable of trouble shooting and maintaining electrical systems and equipment.

·       Competently use the test instruments and various tools necessary to perform tasks.

·       Perform assigned tasks in accordance with production standards required by industry.
